JOYÁ is a performance by Cirque du Soleil in Mexico, located in the Riviera Maya. The plot of the show revolves around a girl named Hoya, who finds herself in magical jungles in a fantastical world created by her alchemist grandfather. An elderly biologist seeks to pass on to his granddaughter his relentless quest for the meaning of life, surrounded by mystical characters and decorations inspired by ancient Mayan culture.
