Akumal Turtles & Tankah Adventure tour. Our tour begins right from your hotel lobby. A car, accompanied by a guide (who may join later in some cases), will pick up the tourists. Our first stop takes us to a specially designated area in Akumal, where the turtles live. Following a brief group preparation session (limited to 6 people per group), you'll venture to the marked snorkeling spot accompanied by a guide. The snorkeling site boasts a sea depth ranging from 2 to 4 meters (6-13 ft). Akumal offers convenient facilities including a dressing room, restroom, and refreshing freshwater shower. After the snorkeling experience, the journey continues to Tankah Park, where you will discover cenotes, jungle activities and the atmosphere of a traditional Mayan community surrounded by the nature of the Yucatan Peninsula. Enjoy activities such as zip lines, canoe rides, cenote jumps and swimming in crystal-clear freshwater cenotes. Following the adrenaline-filled activities, you'll be treated to a sumptuous Mayan-style lunch prepared by the locals, concluding our unforgettable journey.
