Swimming with turtles tour Snorkelling in turtle area + swimming in random cenote This half-day tour is the perfect addition to your Mexican Caribbean vacation portfolio in Cancun or the Riviera Maya. The program includes a visit to Akumal - a habitat for turtles, as well as a cenote. The tour starts from the lobby of your hotel, with round trip transportation included in the price. Typically, the guide is available during pickups, although they may join the group later. Akumal has a specially designated area where tourists can snorkel. After grouping into parties of up to 6 people, you will head to the designated snorkeling spot with a guide. The sea depth at the snorkeling site ranges from 2 to 4 meters (6-13 ft). Snorkeling time is approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on the sea temperature. A dressing room, restroom, and fresh water shower are available in Akumal. After snorkeling and a short drive (approximately 25 minutes), your van will be parked near the cenote, where you can explore the amazing underworld of the Yucatan. The crystal-clear water of the cenotes is rich in minerals, providing guests with a natural spa treatment on the peninsula.
